Questions & Answers
Why is my Riccar loud?
Riccar vacuums are known for using powerful direct air motors. Sometimes the fan in these motors can get damaged. Stop using the vacuum as soon as you notice a change in the motor. Prolonged use can cause additional damage. Bring in your vacuum as soon as possible for a free estimate.
Why is my Riccar hard to push?
Riccar vacuums are exceptionally durable, but they still require occasional maintenance. If your vacuum is difficult to push, it could be due to a broken or stretched belt, worn brushstrips, a jammed brushroll, or other issues that prevent it from performing like new. Bring it in today and we will take a look while you wait and provide you with a free estimate.
How often should I replace my filters?
Most Riccar vacuums feature HEPA filters that require annual replacement under normal conditions. However, you may want to replace them sooner if your home is larger than 3,000 square feet, if you have pets, or if someone in your household suffers from severe allergies. If you have any questions about your specific model, please feel free to reach out. We are always happy to help!
My Riccar vacuum has no power. Can you fix it?
There are a few possibilities that could cause your issue. Upright models are equipped with thermal motor protection, so first try the reset. If the reset works, see if you need to replace your bag, check your filters and check for a clog. If this does not resolve your issue, or you own a canister, stop in and we will take a look at your vacuum.
Do you do Riccar warranty repairs?
Yes. We are an authorized Riccar dealer and warranty center in Orlando, and all of our Riccar repairs are done at our store using original Riccar parts. Bring your proof of purchase for warranty work.
How long does a Riccar repair take?
Every repair is different, so we can't promise a time frame until we've seen your vacuum. We'll tell you up front if a part has to be ordered and provide you an expected completion date.
