Irby & Stutchman Vacuums has been repairing and servicing Dyson vacuums in Orlando since 2007. As more customers began bringing their Dysons in for repair, Dyson took notice — back when Dyson still had sales reps and warranty center service managers, we became an Authorized Dealer and Warranty Service Center for Dyson in 2011. We no longer perform warranty repairs for Dyson, but our years of hands-on experience and our knowledge of how these machines are built and designed keeps us the place to bring your Dyson for repair.

We work on both new and older Dyson vacuums. Stop in and we'll evaluate your machine and give you our recommendation on repairing or servicing it. We're happy to provide a free estimate before any repair work begins, as long as the motor runs.

Questions & Answers

Is it worth repairing my Dyson?

Often, yes. Common problems like a worn battery, a clogged airway or a brush roll that stopped spinning usually cost far less to fix than a new vacuum. We will evaluate the overall condition of your Dyson and recommend if we think it is worth repairing.

How much does Dyson repair cost?

The price to repair your Dyson vacuum can vary depending on your make and model. We will never recommend a repair to a Dyson vacuum that exceeds 50% of the cost to replace it with a new machine. Stop in and we will give you a free estimate.

How long does a Dyson repair take?

Every repair is different, so we can't promise a time frame until we've seen your vacuum. We'll tell you up front if a part has to be ordered and provide you an expected completion date.

Do you do Dyson warranty repairs?

Not anymore. We were a Dyson Warranty Service Center starting in 2011, but we no longer perform warranty repairs. If your Dyson is under warranty, contact the Dyson factory store in Tampa. Once it's out of warranty, we would be happy to help you out.

Why did my Dyson lose suction?

The most common causes are a dirty filter, a full bin, or a clog in the hose, wand or cyclone. If cleaning the filter and emptying the bin doesn't fix it, bring it in and we'll find the problem.

Why is my Dyson so hard to push?

Many Dyson vacuums lack the airflow to deep clean certain carpets and rugs because they create an airtight seal, which makes them difficult to push. This can get worse as your vacuum ages, from worn parts or a need for a tune-up with one of our Complete Services. Don't get frustrated or overwhelmed. Bring it in, and we'll let you know whether it makes sense to invest in repairing your vacuum or in a new one.

Why does my Dyson cordless keep pulsing on and off?

Pulsing usually means your Dyson's motor is not getting enough air through it to work. This is caused by a blockage or restriction. Check the wand and brush head for clogs first. If it still pulses, bring it in and we will assess the condition of your vacuum and the cost of a tune-up.
