This is an original OEM Dyson COV hose.  This hose is standard on all DC41, DC65, UP13, UP14 and UP20 Dyson upright vacuum cleaner models.  The COV hose is responsible for switching the cleaning function from the on board attachment hose to the carpet head for carpet and floor cleaning.  

This hose is a common wear item on all ball style Dyson upright vacuums made since 2013, excluding the Dyson DC15, DC24 & DC25.  This part can be installed by those with the proper tools and a basic knowledge of repairs.  This is not an electrical component, but this part is non-refundable.
